Melissa
Downs-Vice President  Melissa brings to her clients a diverse
healthcare background that includes both clinical and business
experience. Melissa has twenty years of clinical and eleven years of
recruitment experience. Melissa has worked in executive search as
the National Account Manager for DHR International, Inc. and was an
active member of the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice.
She conducted executive and functional searches for hospitals,
health systems, physician practices, pharmaceutical and device
companies and academic medical centers.
Melissa has been with WilliamLaine, Inc for six years,
focusing on a wide variety of physician placements including,
pediatric sub-specialists, primary care physicians and adult
specialty areas. She enjoys being able to provide a unique approach
to the recruitment process and loves personalizing the searches and
getting to know her clients’ and candidates’ needs.Melissa spent fifteen years at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta working as a Pediatric Nurse and a Physician Recruiter for Children’s. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Medical College of Ohio and her Masters of Science with a focus in Healthcare Administration from
