Melissa
Downs-Vice President 
Melissa brings to her clients a diverse healthcare background
that includes both clinical and business experience. Melissa has seven years
of clinical and five years of recruitment experience. Most recently,
Melissa worked as the National Account Manager for DHR International, Inc,
the fifth largest retained executive search firms in the country. With DHR,
Melissa was an active member of the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice.
She conducted executive and functional searches for hospitals, health systems,
physician practices, pharmaceutical and device companies and academic medical
centers. Prior to DHR, Melissa spent almost eight years at the 365 bed Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (created by the merger of Egleston Children’s Hospital and Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center). Melissa worked as a Pediatric Nurse and a Physician Recruiter for Children’s. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Medical College of Ohio and her Masters of Science with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University.
